Now and then I shift into my wedding persona and go through the prerequisite preparation for the "gig that can't be cancelled". This time around I had a 7000 acre fire out my back hills and pretty much limped into what was a wonderful and quite moving wedding at the Pelican Inn near Muir Beach,Ca. I had the great pleasure of working with D.C. based photojournalist and wedding photographer
Allison Shelley who although she was there as a friend, just couldn't put her camera down. In what could of been a chaotic situation worked out great as we both danced lightly around each other and captured the scenes from two eyes and alternate perspectives. Thanks Allison for the help and ideas! So here's a few shots for share and yes it was another classic blue sky bright California wedding with a 12+ f-stop range. I'm seriously considering bracketing exposure for a quick but subtle HDR post workflow next time I'm in such challenging light. Why can't in camera slight if bits do this as well? Just seems possible. ... Oh and 3 cheers to our newlyweds Steve and Kathleen!!!
